‘Orkukka Vallappozhum’ fame director Sohanlal now gets ready for his second film, ‘Jihad’, featuring Jayasurya in the lead.
Jayasurya, whose star seems to be on the rise and who has been doing all kinds of characters of late, will play a very different kind of character, named Parvesh, in ‘Jihad’. Moreover, as the name itself suggests, the film is likely to be a portrayal of many sensitive issues that characterise our times.
Didi Damodaran, who did the script for the much acclaimed ‘Gulmohar’ (directed by Jayaraj), is at present busy finishing the script for ‘Jihad’, which will begin in January. Didi Damodaran, who is the daughter of veteran scenarist T.Damodaran (who requires no introduction to film lovers), had also penned the script for one of the short films in ‘Kerala Café’.
